'Aggregation' Vinyl art work

As part of the refurbishment of the Weston Park Museum in Sheffield a series of art works were commissioned. These included vinyl art works for the some of the glass doors and internal windows of the building.

'Aggregation' was developed from a series of photographic images taken of items in the museums collection that were not likely to be displayed.

One of the ideas for the work is that when brought together they produced a visually interesting collection. The objects are not easily identifiable and require interpretation. Objects were taken from the different parts of the museum collection and combined i the imagery.

'Aggregation' looks at how we try to make sense of a group of objects that is a collection,
