Painting – Grass scroll

The grass scroll in the title of this set of painting refers to a pot I saw in the V&A. It had a pattern decoration called grass scroll but I couldn’t see how exactly the decoration related to the term ‘grass scroll’. I did however liked the interlocking nature of the design and the positive negative elements of its form. It also marks the start of collecting visual elements on a more random basis.

Other smaller sets of paintings such as “Skate” and “Fronts” are also included, they need to go somewhere.
