My approach to screen printing is to keep the process simple. It started from working with my plotter cutter which I use to cut vinyl imagery. I was producing test plots using a pen and wanted to explore this as a means of creating drawings. I then used the cutter to make stencils to add colour to the drawings which then led to screen printing using cut vinyl as the mask.
I follow my approach with my works to use and reuse simple found forms. More recent prints have explored a less predetermined approach using open mesh techniques and simple paper stencils.
